Black Desert Resort Golf Course
Black Desert Resort is Tom Weiskopf's final design, routed through black basalt lava fields below the red rock of Ivins, Utah. It opened in 2023 and brought the PGA Tour back to Utah in 2024 for the first time in about 60 years. The Perry Bros played it on June 27, 2026; Jon's score was 97.

About Black Desert
Nine holes opened for preview in November 2022, and the full 18 opened on May 27, 2023. Tom Weiskopf designed it with Phil Smith; it was the last course he designed.
The PGA Tour arrived in October 2024 for the Black Desert Championship, won by Matt McCarty. The event became the Bank of Utah Championship in 2025, when Michael Brennan won at 22 under, and the LPGA played here in May 2025.
